CREATOR & HOST

Every one of these faces thought she had it figured out. Bless her!

Stepping into the unknown can feel like leaping off a cliff, and yet here I am, leaping anyway (wild, right?!). Weaving Wisdom was born from the messy middle of life: the joy, the heartbreak, the healing, the unravelling, and all the lessons in between.

I’ve lived through painful relationships, deep grief, and hit the kind of rock bottom that nearly took me out. Surviving a suicide attempt was the unexpected turning point that sparked my healing. It wasn’t easy, but it led me to peel back the layers, face my shadows, and reclaim my power. Alongside the hard stuff, I’ve also danced in joy, belly-laughed with loved ones, and wandered down unexpected paths full of magic and meaning.

Weaving Wisdom began as a podcast, a space for real conversations, shared stories, and the kind of truth-telling that helps us feel seen and a little less alone. But it’s grown into something bigger. It’s become a community. A movement. A circle of souls walking their own path, gathering to witness, support, and remember who they are beneath the noise.

Whether you’re listening to the podcast, joining our online Circle, or just quietly soaking it all in from the sidelines—this space was created for you. A space where healing doesn’t have to be so damn lonely. Where it gets to be light-hearted, honest, deep, and wildly human.

So welcome to the table. Pull up a seat. Let’s unravel and reweave together.

About Terina

I’m Māori, Irish, and English—born in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland), raised in Rotorua, and now based on the sunny Gold Coast, Australia. I whakapapa to Ngāti Rehua and Ngātiwai on my father’s side, and Ngai Tāmanuhiri on my mother’s. I was raised with a strong connection to my Māori identity and hold tight to those roots even from afar. Outside of the corporate life, podcast mic and the community space, I’m a lover of music, nature walks, damn good food, and stories, especially the kind that make you feel something.

What I’m Creating

Through Weaving Wisdom, I’m creating spaces online and in real life, for truth, healing, and real connection. Our podcast dives into stories of resilience, identity, growth, and the things we usually whisper about. Our community Circle is where those stories come to life, where we gather, share, and grow together in a way that’s honest, raw, and empowering.
If you’re looking for a no-fluff, soul-deep kind of space where you don’t have to wear a mask or fix yourself to belong, you’re in the right place.

Learn Tāniko Weaving

I also share an online tāniko weaving course for those who want to connect with this beautiful Māori art form. It’s self-paced, beginner-friendly, and filled with step-by-step guidance from casting on to finishing your piece. Whether you’re reconnecting with your roots or discovering something new, everyone’s welcome.
